Yes it works well, just plug it in to your computer and make sure the app you’re using is able to use it. I use it for zoom when I’m in a meeting away from my desktop mic.

The maximum working time of this Clip on microphone is 60H, and it has an OFF button. Turn the switch OFF after you use it, which can effectively save power. There are two extra spares in the package.
White noise is inherent to these type of devices, you will need to speak out a little louder to minimize the with noise a little bit, it will come back if you remain silence or you can use your editing program for keying out the section where nobody is speaking and bring it back up when the person is speaking. (could be labor intensive).
It can use with desktop pc if the desktop have 3.5mm jack,you will no need an adapter.
With my camera and camcorder, there was an auxiliary 1/8" microphone socket there - just plugged it in, switched the microphone battery to "on" and it worked fine. On a Pc computer, if your computer does not instantly recognize it, you may have to go to your "speaker and sound properties" and turn it on. With "Audacity" software, it found the microphone with a few setting adjustments. This product should not require any special app to use.

I have an android phone. I use the microphone on it by plugging the microphone in the one jack (the same as the headphone jack). It works, but you use it by NOT turning on the power on the microphone, otherwise it will not pickup any sound.
