hello everybody welcome to filmmakingtoday boyan zulamic here so are youlooking for an awesome awesome wireless microphone system right herestay tunedalright guys so before we get going theusual housekeeping this product was sentto me by lensgomicrophone uh free of charge for thisreview however as always they have noinfluence on this video they're notreviewing it before it's being publishedand all the opinions you're gonna hearon my own solet's get startedthis is the lensco 348c wireless microphone system it consists of thetransmitter and receiver this is a 2.4gigahertz system that has a range ofabout 70 meters with line of sight let'stake a look at what comes in the boxyou get the manuala magnet holder to clip the transmitteror receiver to various placescable to connect the receiver to thecameracable to connect the receiver to a phoneusb c cable to charge the devicesa dead cata case for everythingthe transmitterand the receiverlet's take a look at the hardwareon the transmitter there's also a microsd card slot to record audio onto it asa backup or if you'd like to use thedevice without the receiver there's ausbc port to charge the deviceon top there is a built-in mic and anaudio jack to connect an external lavmicon the back there is a clip that canalso be detached by a magnetsif you want to use the included dead catsimply snap it on top of the transmitteron the receiver there is a plus andminus button to control the recordinglevels an on off button and usb c portto charge the device on the top there isa line out to connect to a camera or aphoneand the same magnetic clip on the backto turn on the transmitter push the onoff button on the side and hold it for afew seconds if you'd like to record ontothe sd card push and hold the recordbutton until the red light comes onto turn it off push the button againuntil the light is offto turn off the device push the on offbutton again for a few secondsto turn on the receiver push and holdthe on off button for a few secondsyou can adjust recording levels fromplus three to minus threeand if you want to switch between monoand stereo recording push and hold theplus and minus buttons at the same timeto turn off the device push the on offbutton for a few secondsthe included case can also be used tocharge all the devices simply put thetransmitter and receiver inside of itand as you can see there is an extraspot here that is in case if you have anadditional transmitter once placedinside close the case and connect theincluded usb cable to the case plug itin and the case will charge all devicesinsideall right guys so i'm outside right nowi'm aboutfive feet away from the camera or so i'min my usual spot lots going on there'swater obviously behind metreesducks you name it there's cars in thedistance so a lot's happening and thisis what that sounds like so right nowi'm just using the built-in mic i'm notusing the um the dead cat i will in asecond and i got my camera set to minus12 and i've got the receiver set tominus three which is the lowest settingfor the receiver so this is what thatsounds like i don't appear to be peakingi'm looking at the levels they should bepretty decentand uh yeah this is what that soundslike so i'm just going to be quiet for alittle bitokay and i'll be right back all right soi'm back right now again in the samespot and everything but right now i amusing the dead cat right here and thisis what that sounds like so hopefullythere is a bit of a difference thereeverything else is the same distancesettings all that stuff and again i'mjust going to be quiet for a little bitokay and that's what it sounds like soi'll be right back all right so here iam back right now i am using a lav micso it's hooked up to this uh a thingright here and uh it does not come witha lav mic so this was not included thisis my favorite lav mic that i use um itcame with my zoomwhat is the zoom f1 recorder and i lovethat thing so umlet's see i mean there should be adifference using the lav mic obviouslybeing much closer herethan these uh built-in mics so let'shear what that difference sounds likeobviouslyum it will depend on the actual lav micitself they're not all made to make thesit and they're all made the same samequality right so hopefully there is adifference there and umyeah that's that and then right nowlet's uhhear what that sounds like and i'm justgoing to be quiet so you can actuallyhearmy surroundingokay that's that all right so i'm backto using the built-in mic with the deadcan on so right now what i'm going to doi'm going to switch between the actualrecording that was umyou know transferred over um uhthe actual recording from the file uh tothe sd card that uh can also be recordedon this guy right so right now i'm usingthe actual recording that wastransferred over part of the file andright nowokay this is now the sd card that isyncedup as well and let's hear if there is adifference there and because sometimesthose recordings aren't umaren't recorded with the same qualitysometimes it's lower quality so let'shear if there is a difference and nowi'm going to switch back to the file sohere's the file andlet's hear if there is a differencethere okay so as you can see this is apretty cool mic uh first of all thebuilt-in mic uh quality is awesomei love it i usually i don't like to usethe built-in mics becausehonestly they're not the greatest someare better than others but usually ijust don't like to use it however withthis guy i mean i'm using it right nowwowit really isjust great quality soif you are looking for a system whereyou can actually rely on the built-inmicand obviously still have the capabilityof plugging in a lav micthis is going to do the job i mean it isgreat quality i'm very impressed withthe qualityumso there's a couple of things that uh iwish were different and maybe they theywill be going forward with version twoand all that umso first of alluh there are no filters on here right soit'sveryvery bare bones basically i mean youturn it on it syncs up automatically andyou can adjust the recording levels andyou know that's it i mean you can switchbetween stereo and mono and that'sbasically it sothere are no filters nothingnow to be fairi don't usually usethe filters a lot on the wireless micsthat i use i usually just stick to thestandard ones um soi guess it's debatable how much do youneed it you know but still it will benice to have sohopefully in version two we'll we'll getthatso that's one thing the other thing umisandthe companies do that a lot so basicallyif you look at the device right hereright you see all kinds of writingsright umand obviously it's done for brandrecognition i get that but when you'rewhen you're supposed to you know whenyou're putting the mic on here it can bevery distracting when you have all thatwriting uh and andyou know just stuff happeningum obviously you could just i guess puta tape on it so that would solve thatbut um you know that's one of thosethings where i understand it's brandrecognition it's all that but it can bedistracting sometimes also this buttonhere the red buttoncan be an annoyance for sure soalso something to keep in mind and thenthe last thing which it's reallynitpicking and uh uh you know i get whyit's not there but it will be reallynice if theactual case that comes with it which bythe way is awesome and i love the factthat it's included so you can charge alldevices with one cablegreat especially on the go i wish it hada little battery built in so you wouldcharge all the devices maybe give it onechargeright um that would be nice again i getit it's price and all that but maybeversion two that's something they couldinclude aside from that honestly this isa great device
