today we're taking a look at the lensgo 348c wireless microphone system thissystem has cool features such as usbc abuilt-in sd card slot with a recordingfunction for backup audio and much morelet's see if we should buy it or not[Applause]all right so this is how the lensgo 348c looks like up close build qualityis very nice everything is built out ofplastic but it feels very solid and verypremium if i'm going to compare to therode wireless go it's pretty much thesame sizesame build quality but the weight is alittle bit different the lens scoreweighs43.7 gramswhereas the roadways32.8 grams not a big difference but onceyou're going to mount the lensgo onyour shirt you are definitely going tofeel the extra 10 gramsof the weight compared to the rodewireless go to let me now take off thisthing and let's take a closer look onthe receiver and transmitter so here wehave the microphonea lavalier microphone inputpower buttonhere we have nothinga usbc port and also a micro sd cardslot for backup audio so basically therod wireless go 2 has a built-in audiorecorder with a built-in memory i thinkit's like 16 gigs if i'm not mistakenand here we have the same thing built-inaudio recorder for backup audio butinstead of having built-in memory it hasa micro sd card slot that you can swapand and record more audio if you want tothis is now the transmitter on the topwe have a camera cable inputusb type-c power button and also twogain buttons plus and minus now let meshow you how you mount this thing onyourself and also on your camera sobasically on the back you have this clipand it is magneticyou can take it out if you want to itdoes wobble a little bitbut it feels secure enoughto not fall down and then if you want toput it on your camera take this thingput insideand then with magnetbasically attach it i kind of like themagnetson this system but personally i feellike the mount on the road is far moresimple and more secure put the roadinside on your camera and it's therenothing is moving nothing is wobbling itfeels really secure and really nicewhereas with this system it kind ofmoves around as well here takes a whileto put it on your camera andit wobbleslike spins around like thatthe dead cat on the transmitter feelsreally secureit's not falling off or nothing likethat now as for battery life you haveroughly seven hours of battery life witha system and if you want to charge ityou can usethe usb c port on the transmitters andreceiver and alsoif you want to you can use this thing tocharge all of them at once so basicallyyou're going to put them inside like soand then you'll be able to plug in ausbc cable here and charge all of themat once let me show you actually how itworks so here i have my power banklet's plug it inand as you can see they're gonna startcharging now all right let's powereverything on now and see how long ittakes to pairvery quick and very fast let's see nowwhat kind of settings you can adjust onthis receiverso you can adjust the gain from -6up to plus sixyou can also change the channel fromstereo to mono by holding these twobuttons the plus and minusmonostereo now on the transmitter you havethe record button to start recording onthe internal audio recorder so basicallygoing to hold this buttonand now it's going to start recording tothemicro sd card in here for backup audioand that's pretty much it very simpleyou can adjust againyou can change the channel from stereoto mono and you can recordinternal audio to the sd card on thetransmitters now let's talk about audioquality so at the moment i'm using the348c to record the audio for this videowith no extra editing in post-productioneverything is straight out of thismicrophone and out of my camera and ithink the audio quality from the 348c isactually pretty good if i'm going tocompare it to my rod wallace go 2 thenit sounds a bit more bassy whereas thego 2 sounds a bit more clear let me puton the go 2 so you can hear how itsounds compared to the 348c okay andright now i'm using the rode wireless go2 to record the audio for this videowith no extra editing in post-productionwhat do you think which one soundsbetter the348c or the rode wireless go tolet me know down below i think both ofthem sound pretty good this one has abit more bass into it and this onesounds a bit more clear all right so nowlet's do a wrench test lens course saysyou can go up to 70 meters away from thecamera with the system let's see if it'strue or not i'm going to slowly moveaway from the camera andlet's see if the signal is going to dropor notso now i'm about5 meters away from the camera let's do aquick spin check check check one twothree checkchecking checking checking one two threecheckmoving more back check check check onetwo three check another spintesting testing testing testingmoving more back test test test testtest test test now i'm about15 meters away from the camera and onthe spin check check check check checkcheck check checkmoving more back more back testingtesting testingnow about 20 25 meters away from thecamera another spin check check checkchecka bit more back and herei'm about 30 meters away from the camerawhich would be more than enoughfor anyone i would never imagine myselfgoingfurther than this and away from thecamera so let's do another spin checkcheck checkis now about 25 meters away from thecameralet's do another spincheck check check check and now let's goall the way and see when the signaldrops now about 40 45 meters awaynow maybe 50 meters away55 60all right so conclusions i like the casethe charging case you can charge all ofthe transmitters and the receiver allthe same time with one cablereally nice i also like the micro sdcard slot on the transmitters for backupaudio in case if you lose connectionnext thing that i like is the range therange in my opinion is just as strong ason the rode wireless go to held upreally well my personal opinion andfinallyi like theaudio quality it's not as good as on theroad wireless go 2 but for the price ithink it soundspretty good the only thing that i don'tlike about this isare those magnets on the back i meanthey're pretty cool don't get me wrongbuti feel kind of wobbly kind of annoyingto mount on the cameramoves around a lot andi don't know i think the system on theroad go 2 is a bit more simple morereliable and more securethan on the lensgo 348c thanks for watching
