I hope you are fineJust at the moment I wanted to reorganize my home studio set-up, this package came to my homeBut right now, we are going to start a new unboxing of this mistery box, so let´s get started!!This package came from a Chinese company who works on some audio products and decided to contact us, so we are going to see what it is the box Because some of my viewers want to know more about audio and music gearSo, let´s see how is the quality from this gear from ChinaAnd I am going to give you my sincere opinion about this gearBecause I always try to be honest while I am testing gear and when I give my opinion about itEven when we have sponsored videosI understand the companies, but that´s why sometimes I ask for that I may give my honest opinionOh, surprise, here is a brand new condenser microphone Ok, so, we are going to open the box and test it right nowAt simple sight it has a very good impressionInside the bag we can find the microphoneIt looks great, but I have to tell you that this mic feels so light, I have to be honest with thatAt simple touch, it feels it is made out of plastic, but it has the below part made out of metalThe grille feels resistent,But I thing it is not good idea to shaking this micBut for the price, that may be between $40 to $150 box I think it is so goodIt has a low cut which is so helpful for voice recordingsIt came with a silica gel bag, but I really liked the box presentationI really like thatIt came with a 3.5mm-XLR typical cable, which I don´t recommendBecause for being honest, these kind of cables DON´T WORKBut one good thing is that this mic has a -10dB padAnd this function works well for recording loud sounds like brass winds, drums or percussion instrumentsIf you want to record on those situations, this mic works well on thatThat´s so good for the price it hasBut you need to be careful with this mic, by the construction it hasand that´s nothing you cannot solve when you can use good mic stands and you take care of your gearThis is the box and the user manualSo, let´s plug and test itOk guys, this is how the mic sounds really, it is plugged into the interface and it is set to a 10 cm distance from meI am not using edition for the audio, I am using the raw audio from the mic and the interface, the sound has no presets yet as in a normal way.The audio interface I am using is the Behringer U-Phoria UMC404HDI know this is not the best interface, but it works great for recording with the microphoneSomething I noticed from this mic, is that it vas a great sensitivity, that´s something I have never experienced with otrer condenser mics I have tested before.This is the first time I test a LensGo microphone But I think this is not the best mic I have tested, but in my opinion it sounds decentIt is an achiever microphone if you are looking for a good sound for a low budget, it works fine.For recording this test I am using Reaper, we can see how are the transients from the sound of this mic.Almost everything I am recording with this mic, seems to be louder, and sometimes you can see that it may have a saturationI am using a 25% of gain from the interface, but this mic sounds louder.I had never had this situation with other condenser mics. I think this is the first time where this happens.When you use home studio budget interfaces like Behringers or Scarletts you mostly use a 50% gain with condenser mics.But with this mic you have a great sensitivity, but keep in mind I am using a male-female XLR cable with Neutrik connectorsOther detail I forgot to tell you about this mic is that it has gold-plated XLR connector, it is a great feature.This is not helpful when you thing if this mic plugs better with the cables, but it´s helpful because gold prevents rusting, so it helps in terms of durability.That´s something we can thank to LensGo for adding this feature for the price it hasI am going to lift the gain into a 50%, 75% and a 100%, I think it´s clipping and it´s clipping moreSomething I don´t like is the noise, but, I think that´s something you can correct by taking down the gain.Next thing I am goig to test is the -10dB pad, I am going to make the switch right now.So, you noticed the difference in the sound it has.I am going to increase the gain levels into a 50%, but I think that with a 45% of gain it sounds well.We increase to 50%, 75% and 100% with the -10dB padI learned how is the way this mic may sound better, it doesn´t need much gain. I am going to use the low cut filter.I think the sound would become even betterI am going to test the cardioid polar pattern from this micI am going to turn the mic for listening the way it rejects sound.I am going to test the proximity effect of this mic, when I sit far from this mic at 1 meter distance.I am going to listen the sound test and I will give my opinion about this mic.Honestly, this mic leaves me a lot to be desired, because of its construction.Because this mic has a lot of competition in the low budget price range, it would be better if there would be another model with a metal body and best circuits.But the thing where this mic has something special is in the soundEven this mic has a big sensitivity, which is a negative point for the mic.This is a very silent microphone, and that surprised me.And we can thank the brand for that, because for people who is starting on musical production, streamings or content creations, is a great option.But take in consideration the kind of interface, the kind of cable you are using.In my case I am using a UMC404HD and a PBK cable with Neutrik gold-plated connectors, so they make a great job.This mic surprised me in terms of sound, because it sounds so clean at this price range.Keep in mind that the U-Phoria Series of interfaces or the Scarlett ones have the same level of preamp noise.I have tested many models of condenser mics at this price range before, but this mic has a great clean sound, not at the best leven, but it works well.This may be the best budget microphone with a silent sound on a price range below $50 or $70 box.The point I can tell is that this mic doesn´t pick up much interference, but it depends on the gear you are using and if your electrical connection is grounded.It depends on the way you place it in the roomThe two great things that surprised me were that it has is a great sensitivity and a silent sound for its price.I believed this mic would sound poor or with a lot of noise, but it has a great sound for its price range, that surprised me when I listened it with my headphones and the studio monitors.I cannot believe that a condenser mic made out of plastic would have a good sound for its price range.I recommend it??
