hey guys i'm back again with anothermicrophone video and this time it is atwo set portable microphone specialthanks to lucy from lensgo for sendingthis overnow this microphone set is the 348c thatcomes in a charging case with onereceiver and two transmitters and awhole bunch of cables and lapelsand i've been looking for a microphonelike this for a whilewith multiple features that makesvideo content creation more costefficient and time efficient thismicrophone is also comparable to therode wireless go and the saramonic blink500. it's a set with two mics whichmakes interviews or videos affordablewithout having to buy for example asecond set ofone of these which is the sennheiser g3now g4 and buying another transmittercould be costly and also they're prettyfragile now the second thing that makesthis microphone stand out is that youcan use each of these littletransmitters as a portable recordingdevice by inserting a tf card or a microsd card and by press simply pressing therecord buttonthis thing acts as a portable recordernow inside each of these wind muffs liesthe actual microphoneand also a microphone input in case youdo plan to insert your other type ofmics because i do find attaching thesethings to your subjects really ugly iwould only use them as microphones if iwas doing street journalism on thestreet to interviewsubjects like thisnot to mention that when you haveconnected both microphonesto the receiver you are able to switchbetween mono mix and stereo mix givingyou the added advantage of editing eachtrack separately in post if you'replanning to do a acoustic live recordingof your musical performancenow the battery on this thing lasts agood seven hours and it only takes aboutone and a half hours to fully charge viausbcthrough this port over hereand the charging case also acts as acarrying case which makes this prettyhandyso hey guys this is how the microphonesounds without the wind muffnow are there any downsides to using the lensgo 348c and the answer is i do have two minorissues but they're really minor but ii'm gonna let you know what it isso the first thing is that if you'reusing the lapel that's provided by lensgo and you put to put it inthis testing works hello hello yeah soif you use the lapel that's provided by lensgo you may or may not get this during ashootsometimes when you bring your microphonecloser to the transmitter you may get alittle bit of interference or feedbackbut so far this has only happened onceduring my shoot soit's not such a big deal but the momentyou put them apartthe feedback or the interference justkind of like cuts outsurprisingly thoughsurprisinglynowsurprisingly if you were to insert amore expensive lapel mic like thesennheiser microphone into the lensgo 348c you'll find that i found thatthere were no interference at allduring my shootnowthis whole interference and feedbackissue has only happened oncesoit's not a major issue as long as themicrophones are and the transmitter arefar apart so keep this in your talent'spocket and keep this on to your talentonto your tie or your shirtnow the reason why i think this is justmy theory why the more expensivemicrophonesprobably do a lot better than the moreaffordable ones that they provide ispossibly because the more expensivelapels have some sort of shieldingagainst interferencenow the second issue that i have withthethis microphone is thatif you are trying to use this as aportable recorder the manual says thatit supports a micro sd card up to 32gigs so if you don't haveanything that is smallerthen32 gigs i do recommend that you get onebecause i tried using my 128 gigabyte sdcard to record audio straight from hereand it did not work now the mic has anadvertised range of 70 meters and forthat microphone that uses 2.4 gigahertzwireless frequency this is actuallypretty impressive now i did arrangetests in my housemate to find out if itreally was 70 meters or more i'm herewith myhousemate jaredhey jared you want to come here and sayhihello and we are here to test how farthemicrophone will take us at the distanceit is advertisedto be about 70 meterssolet's go test this out let's start nowlet's iron mangoall rightso how was your day jared it's gooddid you hot day did you enjoy yourtrip to the grocery store yes definitelyit was a five amazing minute road trippretty sure they can still hear yesso69 70 meters so this is 70 millimeterall right so as you can see we are veryfar away 70 meter mark if the audio isstill really clear that means thismicrophone has really worked its magicon its advertiseddistance and range of itsconnectivityso just for the sake of it we are goingto go another 10 more meters and see ifif there's any cut outit's about 8080are we 80 now yeah about 80 now hereright hereall rightcooli've used this mic on two professionalshoots so far and i've to say it hasbeen an amazing experience the price forthis mic in australia currently sits at220 dollars for the single transmitterset to the 330 for the dual transmitterseti've actually replaced the sennheiser g3that i normally use my shoots to the lensgo 348c for all my professionalvideo production because it is just somuch more convenient to use it as itcomes with a charging case andthe use cases for this microphone setwould definitely be for social mediacontent creators journalists livestreamers and small scale videoproductionfor creators who need to create contentfast and efficientlyhowever if you need the longer range andyou need to use them in professionalsettings such as an a big concert a bigbudget film production it is highlyrecommended that you use a uhf or fmtype transmitters like this as thereceivers and transmitters have a lotmore reliablelonger ranges as well so i hope you guyshave enjoyed my review and my take onthe lensgo 348c microphone and i'll seeyou guys again in the next video
