348c wireless microphone system it comes in black it comes in yellow and i got white this setup with the receiver and two transmitters competes with the dji and the rode wireless go to wireless microphone systems i'm going to take you through all the specs and show you why this is an affordable alternative hey i'm down here notice anything different i'm using a new wireless transmitter receiver to record my videos this is the lensgo 348c and it offers an affordable alternative to other wireless microphone systems like the dji or the road if you want to step up your video game i'm going to jump right into the specs of this system but stick around in the video because i'm going to take it out and do some field testing and then at the end of the video i'm going to talk about the price of this and the alternatives out on the market in the meantime drop some comments down below to let me know if you're using this system or other systems or if you're thinking about purchasing a wireless microphone set up soon as you can see the lensgo 348c comes in white they also make it in yellow and one that's in all black and just a side note for this part here i'm recording on a different microphone in a different setup but soon we're going to get out and do some field testing now let's take a look at what comes in the box i got the system with one receiver and two transmitters in the box it comes with an instruction manual it comes with this case here and this is an all-in-one charging case inside this case you have your transmitter and here's the other transmitter here and here's the mainreceiver so you have one two transmitters and the receiver it comes with this all-in-one charging case dock so you plug that in with the usb cable and you charge that up all night and you're good to go it comes with a trs cable it also comes with one cable that is trs on one end and on the other end a trrs and that's for smartphone so with your adapter you can plug that into your smartphone it comes with a usb to usbc cable for charging the whole setup in addition there's a sticky magnetic buckle that you can stick anywhere and then you're able to stick your receiver right on there otherwise you use this clip that goes in your cold shoe mount and it clips on right there and it's the same for the transmitters those strong magnetics look at that and with both transmitters you get a wind muff dead cat like that and it clicks on and off and it protects you when you're out in the wind so you don't get any wind interference and the dead cat matches the color of the system so in this case it's all white the yellow one comes in yellow and the black comes in black it's soft meow the lensgo operates on a 2.4 gigahertz wireless system that allows you up to 70 meters or 230 feet out in an open environment and that should be pretty far away for your video needs both transmitters have built-in microphones they also have a 3.5 jack so you can plug in a lavalier mic and you're good to go if you want to hide this thing in your pocket all three units have these magnetic clips like that so you can clip it on your shirt and that looks ridiculous or you can do it underneath your shirt with the magnetic bit like that and that looks a bit better another option i might try is you can go on the inside like that so you don't see the unit as much the transmitters each have sd card inputs sd cards are not included and with that option you can record independently on the unit itself by pressing and holding this record button and you see it lights up like that so that way if you're out of range for the receiver you've got the recording here internally as well and it records as a wav file but you got to remember to push that record button if you're doing that the positive on having an sd card that you can release like this is that you can give this sd card to someone else and they can easily get your audio clips with the new rode wireless go 2 system this is the rode wireless go one system the original i have two of these that i use all the time with the new rode wireless go 2 system it has internal memory so you have that memory in there you don't have to deal with an sd card but on this you have an sd card that you can pull out and give to someone quickly so they can have your audio files right away the receiver has this beautiful display thatyou can set your audio levels on and you can see the audio levels you can also see the battery power on each transmitter unit and on the receiver itself at the top you get the battery level and you can also set the units to record in mono or stereo depending on your preference the display on this though beautiful does not compare to the new dji wireless system with this touch screen it's a whole nother level but that's also an entirely different price point anyway let's get out there and test this system okay we're outside and it's a beautiful day for some field testing so right away you can see the benefits of having a wireless system because you can speak at a distance and not be tied to the camera itself if you're using a little like the rode video micro shotgun mic and you can also vlog with it like this too in an arm's distance i'm going to take you to the park here we're going to see how far i can go on this system and you can hear the quality of it itself now in florence italy this is called the scuderia it's a park on the south side of town and it used to be the old horse stable for the medici family think about this said this whole big part for the horses and down there the stables where they slept at night so now this building instead of ahorse stable it's now a school of art for kids here in florence and you also get many international students as well that come here and study i counted out 70 steps to that point there about 70 meters 220 230 feet so you can see the distance range on this 2.4 gigahertz lensgo 348 system and it works out pretty well look there's some dogs over here they're having a good time this is a big dog park for the local florence people they bring their dogs here and they let them roam free no masks no leash and they just have some fun oh i like this little dog herehe's afraid i would be afraid too so you can see the signal strength on this lensgo 348c and it works out pretty well but the reason i think you need a wireless setup it's not so much the distance but it's being able to do shots like this where you have your camera on a tripod and you don't have to be next to it to still get good audio and you're able to walk around and talk like this so if you're doing something like a presentation on stage and you need to record yourself or if you have a setup and you want to show something to the video camera you don't have to be right next to the camera to run a wireless system and that's a huge benefit and a positive to something like the lensgo 348c or the road or the dji system now let's get back inside because it's kind of cold out here overall i like this system i got it so i could have two transmitters around the house and one receiver and it offers me a great alternative the build quality it's plastic but it's a strong you feel it's strong it's gonna last you a long time and i'm going to be putting it to the test over the coming months i like the fact that it has an independent record button like this so you can record without the need of having a receiver if you just want to have this on your talent you don't need the receiver and you can just put it on them and you're getting a quick and easy recording and with that sd card you can pull it out and give it to someone else and they got the audio quickly and you see they promoted that record button with this big one here on the carrying case itself and i'll just show you how everything snaps in there you put your two transmitters down here close it be mindful of your fingers and then right over there you got one usbc port you plug it in at night and the next morning you're ready to shoot all day i like the display on the receiver that's good it's easy to use you can set your audio levels i also like that they all come with these easy popping on and off magnetic clips because that gives you plenty of options for hiding the transmitters under the clothing and also when you have it on your camera you slide the clip in like that and when you're using it your receiver clips on right there and you can spin in any direction the cable goes in like that but the benefit is when you don't need it you can easily unplug it like that and just leave your clip on there you have that strong magnetic clip so it's an easy on off system for your receiver you just need to make sure that this thing doesn't fall off when you're out recording out doing the field testing a minute ago i had no problems with it at all themagnet it seems plenty strong what would i suggest what would i do differently get some sd cards run some sd cards in each transmitter also get yourself a lavalier this doesn't come with a lavalier plug it in there so you can hide this in your pocket because you don't really want this huge transmitter hanging off your shirt but it works in a pinch if you're out and you want to record in a hurry the price on this lensgo 348c setup with two transmitters i found on amazon for 245 if you just want the system with the receiver and one transmitter instead of two they sell that system for a hundred and sixty three dollars i put the amazon link for the lensgo 348c down below so you can click on the link and check out the prices in your country how does this stack up to other systems well the rode wireless go 2 that comes with two dedicated transmitters and 1 receiver that comes in at 277 the new dji wireless microphone system that comes in at 329 us dollars and it's a whole nother level and something you might consider if you're looking for more of a professional comparison to the lensgo would be the rode wireless go to and that wins if you're looking for something that has a more of a beautiful app and software because with that setup it seems to be pretty powerful but now you have more competition and more options on the market and that's a great thing with the lensgo 348c
